Attach to your key ring. To deter an assailant simply pull the pin on the RESQUME DefendMe and a bleering screeching tone sounds alerting people nearby that something is amiss. Something an assailant will not be comfortable with. The possibility of the assailant turning off the DefendMe is very slim, as the pin is connected to your keyring and is not easily reinserted disarming the device.
Has also been used as an effective device while hiking to help prevent bear attacks.
